Dario Fo (1926-2016) was an Italian playwright, actor, and director renowned for his satirical works and innovative theatrical techniques. Born in Sangiano, Italy, he studied architecture before dedicating himself to the performing arts. Alongside his wife, Franca Rame, Fo established a dynamic career in theater, blending comedy with sharp political commentary to critique social and political issues. His most famous works include "Accidental Death of an Anarchist" and "Mistero Buffo." In 1997, Fo was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature for his contributions to the arts. His legacy remains influential in contemporary theater and political satire.
