Robin Ha

Robin Ha is a Korean American cartoonist and author known for her vibrant graphic memoirs and novels. Born in South Korea, she moved to the United States as a teenager, an experience she chronicled in her acclaimed graphic memoir "Almost American Girl," which received numerous accolades including being a National Book Award finalist. Ha's work explores themes of immigration, identity, and cultural adaptation with humor and heart. Her graphic novel "The Fox Maidens" draws on Korean folklore to tell a captivating story of sisterhood and survival. She also authored the popular cookbook "Cook Korean!" Ha lives and works in Washington.
