Lamya H. is a queer Muslim writer and author of the critically acclaimed memoir *Hijab Butch Blues* (2023). Writing under a pseudonym to protect their safety, Lamya H. immigrated to the United States as a young person and draws on their experiences navigating intersecting identities as a queer, hijab-wearing Muslim.
