Freya Marske is an Australian author best known for her acclaimed fantasy trilogy, The Last Binding series, which begins with "A Marvellous Light." The series, which also includes "A Restless Truth" and "A Power Unbound," combines Edwardian-era elegance with intricate magic systems and romantic intrigue. Marske's work has garnered widespread praise for its lush prose, complex world-building, and compelling queer romances. Before turning to writing full-time, she worked as a medical doctor.
