Mark Haddon

Mark Haddon is an acclaimed British author and illustrator, best known for his bestselling novel "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time," which has garnered numerous awards, including the Whitbread Book of the Year. Born in Northampton, England, in 1962, Haddon studied English at Merton College, Oxford, and later, creative writing for children's books at Edinburgh University. Before becoming a full-time writer, he worked in various fields, including as an illustrator and a scriptwriter. Haddon is also a keen marathon runner and a passionate advocate for individuals with autism. He resides in Oxford with his family, continuing to write captivating stories for all ages.
