Aja Gabel

Aja Gabel is an American author known for her richly drawn fiction exploring art, ambition, and human connection. Her debut novel, "The Ensemble," follows four young musicians navigating the highs and lows of life in a string quartet, earning widespread critical acclaim for its emotional depth and lyrical prose. Her second novel, "Lightbreakers," continues to showcase her gift for vivid characterization and immersive storytelling. A former cellist herself, Gabel brings an insider's sensitivity to the world of music and creativity. She holds an MFA in creative writing and has taught writing at various universities across the United States.
