Catherine Chidgey

Catherine Chidgey is an award-winning New Zealand novelist known for her meticulously crafted and psychologically complex fiction. Her acclaimed works include "In a Fishbone Church," "The Transformation," "The Wish Child," and "Remote Sympathy." Chidgey's novels often explore themes of memory, identity, and moral ambiguity with precision and emotional depth. "The Wish Child" was longlisted for the Man Booker Prize, while "Remote Sympathy" won the Acorn Foundation Fiction Prize and the New Zealand Book Award for Fiction.
