About
Michael Jecks is a celebrated British author renowned for his historical fiction, particularly the bestselling Knights Templar Mysteries series. Born in Surrey, England, Jecks initially worked in various fields, including teaching and computer sales, before turning to writing full-time. With a deep passion for medieval history, he meticulously researches to bring authenticity to his novels. Besides the Knights Templar series, he has authored other historical thrillers and stand-alone novels. Jecks is a founding member and past Chairman of the Crime Writers' Association’s Debut Dagger Award. When not writing, he enjoys photography and walking the moors of his beloved Devon.
