Jami Nakamura Lin

Jami Nakamura Lin is a Taiwanese Japanese American author and essayist whose work explores grief, mental illness, mythology, and the immigrant experience. Her debut book, "The Night Parade," is a genre-defying memoir that weaves Japanese and Taiwanese folklore through the story of her father's death and her own struggles with bipolar disorder. A passionate advocate for mental health awareness and Asian American storytelling, Lin's writing has appeared in numerous literary publications.
