Inua Ellams

Inua Ellams is a Nigerian-British playwright, poet, and performer known for his dynamic storytelling and insightful exploration of identity and migration. Born in Nigeria, he moved to the UK at age 12, an experience that profoundly shapes his work. Ellams' acclaimed plays include "Barber Shop Chronicles" and "The Half God of Rainfall," which have received international attention. His poetry collections, such as "The Actual," showcase his lyrical brilliance and ability to weave personal and political narratives. Ellams is also the founder of the Midnight Run, a cultural exploration project. He continues to inspire with his cross-disciplinary approach to art.
