Patrice Caldwell is a celebrated author, editor, and literary advocate known for her dynamic presence in the world of young adult literature. A graduate of Wellesley College, Caldwell's career is marked by her commitment to amplifying diverse voices and stories. She is the editor of critically acclaimed anthologies such as *A Phoenix First Must Burn*, which showcases Black voices in speculative fiction.
