Robert W. Chambers

Robert W. Chambers (1865–1933) was an influential American author best known for "The King in Yellow," a collection of weird and supernatural tales that left a lasting impact on the genre of horror fiction. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Chambers initially studied art in Paris before returning to the U.S. to pursue writing.
