Michael Brandman

Michael Brandman was an American author, producer, and screenwriter best known for continuing Robert B. Parker's beloved Jesse Stone series. After Parker's death in 2010, Brandman penned three novels featuring the troubled Paradise police chief: "Robert B. Parker's Killing the Blues," "Robert B. Parker's Fool Me Twice," and "Robert B. Parker's Damned If You Do." A longtime friend and collaborator of Parker's, Brandman also produced the successful Jesse Stone television movies starring Tom Selleck. His deep understanding of Parker's characters and storytelling style made him a natural choice to carry on the author's literary legacy. Brandman passed away in 2017.
