Nicola Yoon

Nicola Yoon is a celebrated Jamaican-American author renowned for her poignant and captivating young adult novels. Born in Jamaica and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Yoon developed a passion for storytelling early on. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and an MFA in Creative Writing from Emerson College. Yoon's debut novel, "Everything, Everything," became a bestseller and inspired a successful film adaptation. Her second novel, "The Sun Is Also a Star," was a National Book Award finalist and also adapted into a movie.
