Gerry Conway and Chuck Dixon take on the lion’s share of writing in this collection and are joined by artistic luminaries Jorge Zaffino, a young Andy Kubert, Michael Docherty, Ernie Chan and more.

This collection reprints the never-before-reprinted Conan the Barbarian: Horn of Azoth. Originally written for the screen as Conan the Destroyer, the plot of this book ended up being so different from what the movie became that Roy Thomas and Gerry Conway repurposed their original work into this original graphic novel. The collection also includes the first and only Conan the Barbarian work of Argentinian artist Jorge Zaffino in the story titled “The Horned God.”

Both writers are supported by a grand group of artists including Andy Kubert, Michael Docherty, Ernie Chan, Gary Kwapisz, Jorge Zaffino, and Tony DeZuniga.

This collection includes a selection of covers featuring work by Joe Jusko, Dorian Vallejo, and Earl Norem, and features a section of rarely seen bonus material.
