Sophia met Wade a few years back. The last she heard from him, he said he’d be back to take her out to dinner—and she never saw him again. Having spent several years in the meantime working with Merk and his team in Texas, when Terk called for her help Sophia jumped at the opportunity to go. Even if Wade didn’t understand, she knew a connection worth trying for when she felt it.
