It's 1965, Meg is sixteen and stuck in the wilds of Canada at her aunt's lake house...again. Every year she'd been planted there and it had been great, when she was a kid but now...bad enough far from friends, Beatle music and fashion. Her only companion, a tiny turquoise transistor radio.
Nothing to do but get a tan and walk the dirt roads till school in September. That's what she thought anyway, until one night, she saw the old fishing guide, Baer Cody, riding across the lake toward home...REALLY saw him (and his world revealed for the first time).
From that moment on, Meg's courage and tolerance would be tested as she joins with new friends in a race to save their secret world from destruction.
