Description

So, first I want to say thank you for taking the time to look at my journal. I created this journal in reference to my husband who is currently incarcerated. This has been a journey, and I must say it hasn't been easy.

Although we write each other every week, we have visitations twice a month and we speak on the phone as much as we can. Sometimes I feel there are things that go unspoken between us due to the circumstances. Thirty-minute phone calls are never enough, especially when you have so much to say. There are days when I just want to write him a little note that says "I love and miss you."

I've also used this to help me try to understand what my husband goes through. "Missing You" is not only a journal for loved ones who could be incarcerated; it could also be for loved ones who have moved or even passed away. It can really be used for anything.

I chose the title "Missing You" because I truly miss my husband. This journey is only a chapter in our life, but until we're able to close it, I'll continue to write the pages.
