Hellfire in High Heels

Widow Lola Engel owns the only fancy shoe store in Hellfire, Texas, but selling shoes to housewives can be a tad boring. To add a little spice to her life, she sets her sights on the young Chance Grayson, a firefighter she’d like to light up her sheets. Only when she sets the stage for a sexy rescue, Grayson’s partner takes the call.

Daniel Flannigan doesn’t have the patience to play games. He’s a serious firefighter, and he has a problem with trumped-up calls that take time and effort away from real emergencies. When a particularly sexy widow cries wolf once too often, he takes the call with the intention of teaching the woman a valuable lesson.

In the end, they might both be schooled when the heat rises, igniting a flame neither expected to burn.
