Timber

JAX: “I have wood and I know where to put it.”

HARPER: “I've never seen a trunk in my life.”

Jax

I've been called wild. Dirty. Untamed. That's because I'm a man, and that's the way I like it. Women like it too; they're just usually too scared to admit it. I moved to the woods to get away from the bullsh*t of the city. People there don't understand a man like me. I carry an axe and I chop down trees. I work hard, and my hands are as calloused as my heart. And nothing is going to change that.

Harper

I was raised to believe in true love and commitment, and that when you make a promise you should keep it. Of course, I never expected my fiancé to break things off a week before our wedding. I had to get away from the city; it holds too many memories. Right now, I just want to forget. So I ran to my uncle's cabin in the woods. I'm locking myself away until I can figure out a way to move on. I never want to see another man again, especially one who doesn't understand a woman's fragile heart.

A bad boy lumberjack serial.
