Joker is the man everyone loves to hate. In Batman: The Killing Joke, his insanity feels contagious—he wants to prove that anyone can go mad when pushed far enough.

The Joker kidnaps Commissioner Gordon and shoots and paralyzes his daughter Barbara in an attempt to destroy the commissioner's sanity. He tries to break Gordon's mind, but with Batman's help Gordon resists and fights back against the Joker's plan.
