The Mystery of the Midnight Dog

The Aldens are visiting Grandfather's good friend, Mrs. Wade, in a small town called Elbow Bend. According to Mrs. Wade's granddaughter, the town has many ghost tales and there is a favorite tale concerning a dog. One night, at midnight, they hear dogs howling all over Elbow Bend. Watch howls as well, and Benny sees a ghostly white dog in the woods!
